It's called power-clashing, and yes I invented it. Or maybe Solange did. Whose to say? Print on print on print is really what this look is all about. My tip for you, if you would like to follow in my pattern mash-up trendsetting ways, is to pair similar colors and/or similar patterns together. I paired a floral top with a leafy short - a collision of foliage that has never been attempted before this very moment - both comprised of light green hues. The shirt from Gap is a new addition to my wardrobe and I sort of forgot about the shorts from Zara, but maybe they were just waiting until another plant print was added to my wardrobe. More to come!
