Coat: H&M Studio Collection Pants: J Brand Boots: Office Beanie: Asos

I'm currently reading Moby Dick for school, so it's only fitting than I dedicated an entire blog post to the color white. Plus, this coat looks like it should really be a size 16, making it the great white whale of outerwear. And while the whale can symbolize everything and nothing at the same time, this outfit is pretty straightforward. A massive coat and some skinny jeans. I'm completely swallowed up in this coat, too (cough, cough, Captain Ahab, cough, cough the Peaqod). Should I link this page to my final that's supposed to be on Melville's novel? Probably. Until then, call me Julie and call my coat man's futile attempt to tame nature by creating things other than big, boxy blankets in the form of outwear.  More to come!
