You know why jumpsuits are the best? Because they're one piece. One item that you can throw on and still look impossibly chic. I bought this one because it had a plunging neckline and since I carry so little on top I knew it wouldn't look vulgar. My life is all about living at opposite ends of the spectrum. Case in point: had you ever even seen below my clavicle? Probably not because I have a penchant for turtlenecks. And now I'm wearing a jumpsuit that cuts down to my naval. Maybe I don't want to be objectified, that I'm not confident enough in myself to be able to show skin and feel self-empowered. Or maybe I just love being sealed into my turtlenecks. This jumpsuit really subverts my "fashion nun" moniker, but as the Canadian poet Drake says #YOLO. As I write this, I am in fact wearing a turtleneck, so don't worry I haven't given up refusing to show any part of my chest. For now, revel in the fact that you can see any sort of flesh below my chin because I doubt it will happen again. More to come!
