Coat: Asos (old) Jeans: Madewell Shoes: Banana Republic

This coat is so old, but I wear it so little that people think it's new. It was my 20th birthday present to myself, an obvious knock-off of one of Marc Jacob's last collections for Louis Vuitton. But since stripes never go out of style, neither does this coat. It doesn't need more than jeans and some loafers. I tend to let statement pieces shine by toning down the rest of the outfit, and this look is no exception. Can we also take a moment to appreciate the clarity of the iPhone6 camera? It's become a new (albeit annoying) habit of mine to always ask people with 6's to take my picture, but I just love the quality of the photos. People probably think I'm vain for always wanting my photo taken, but let me take a second to explain myself. For starters, I don't think I'll ever look back on my life and wish I'd taken less photos. I also have sunglasses on in all of my photos, which should imply that I want my outfit or my backdrop to be the focal point of the image - not my face. That's my explanation for why I'm so apart of generation image. That and the fact that I love a cool photo. More to come!
