Dress: Gap Sunnies: Linda Farrow x 3.1 Phillip Lim Shoes: Adidas

My life's biggest irony is that I write every blog post while laying in a massively huge Spring Breakers t-shirt and shorty-shorts. Now let's talk about this outfit. These sunglasses will be great in 50 year when I need cataracts surgery, but for now they made me look like a galactic tween who resents their parents for not letting them drive the mid-sized spacecraft later than 11:30 pm. Paired with a neoprene dress from Gap that I pretty much forgot I bought, the outfit is basically one big homage to Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century. Let's take a moment to discuss neoprene. Is it pase? Has it jumped the shark? I can't tell because I think I'm too blinded by my love for it. Sure, lots of older people really don't understand it, most even hate it and it's texture. But does the fashion crowd feel the same way? Prada did just do an entire collection of neoprene babydoll dresses and two-piece suits. So, let's just say for now that neoprene is on probation until we come to a final conclusion on this textile's status in the styling world. More to come!
